It started just as a shop, but then, while I was on my 4th trip to Disney World, surrounded by that beautiful and wonderful place, I got inspired more and more and the idea enlarged and started taking its shape until it became this.
The name
The name was inspired by an experience I had in Magic Kingdom, the last park I visited on this trip.I was just about to leave, but the night-time parade was about to start so I was surely not going to leave without watching it. I entered in the Tony's Restaurant to refresh a little bit and look for my camera in a lighted up place (at 8:45 am when I arrived, the waiting time for Tinker Bell was 55 minutes, I didn't have the time at that moment) and when I looked up, ''Tinker Bell. Waiting Time: 5 minutes'' I quickly got in line, and it was totally empty, just me! Then they let me in and I met Tinker Bell! and to be honest, she was one of the best characters I got to meet, she was a highlight. And because of the lack of people in the waiting line, she stayed with me for a really long measure of time talking with me. She was just so nice and pretty and sweet and funny! When I left the fairies world, I couldn't stop smiling, and it's a really special memory that now I have with Tinker Bell.
When I was looking out for names without going anywhere, picking up names that I didn't really love or had a meaning, I looked at my Tinker Bell's autograph and all the pixie dust she drew in my book and I said something like ''oh, pixie dust, ha ha'' and then it just came to my mind and I LOVED it.
Mission
First of all, I want to thank Dillon and Korina, who run an amazing YouTube channel (ThatonecoupleTV) who also inspired me to create this blog to share my knowledge and love for Disney.This is also my way to pay tribute and remember that special memory and one of my new favorite characters, Tink! It also had the pixie dust, which I consider such a magical thing that fitted perfectly the concept for my idea.
TPDF is my way to show my creativity and crafty part of me with my Online Shop.
